Where to Buy Bar/Bat Mitzvah Cards and Why
A pet peeve of mine, albeit a relatively minor one, is the high price of greeting cards. It’s not uncommon to pay $7.99 for a single card. And that’s not including sales tax. Two greeting cards will cost you just around $20 which has always seemed to me to be an outrageous amount. I have recently transitioned to card shopping at the Dollar Tree or Trader Joes because the prices are so reasonable, but the selection isn’t exactly ideal. You probably aren’t going to find a beautiful Hallmark card equivalent. So that is why I was floored when my mom walked into the room and showed me her recent Bar Mitzvah greeting card purchase from Amazon. Not only was it an absolutely beautiful card, but she only paid three dollars for it! So, I immediately went to Amazon and sure enough, there is a small, but decent selection of Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah cards available for under five dollars. So, if you are in the Bar/Bat Mitzvah circuit, or have any ceremonies on the calendar, I highly suggest you stock up! Here are some of my favorite Bat/Bar Mitzvah cards available:
